Last March I got married again! After a long and happy marriage to Janet, she sadly succumbed to the cruel disease of COPD in 2021. It was during my period of grief that I met a lady, Jean, who lost her husband to dementia. Our grief brought us together and we became friends with a lot of shared interests such as walking and gardening. Over a relatively short period of time our friendship blossomed into love, and we got married at St Cuthbert’s Church in Southport, the church we attend each week.

Jean has fallen in love with Guernsey, and we are planning another trip to the island later in the year.
