Marcus Fernando (6885) usually makes his living as a Theatre Director, but increasingly he is finding that his photography is becoming a major part of his career. He was recently asked to photograph a Blues Festival in Novigrad in Croatia. The 4-day festival featured artists and bands from around the world, on indoor and outdoor stages. He was issued not only with a Backstage pass, but also an Onstage pass, so that he could go onto the stage during the gigs to photograph the artists. A selection of his images will feature in a one year exhibition at one of the venues, and next year's festival is already being planned.
