Matt Copeland (9689) says it feels great to be back at Elizabeth College, having been a student here from 1999-2006. I recently said to a colleague that returning here really feels like coming ‘home’. I have worked in education in Guernsey for the past 11 years at the Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre but was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to come and work at Elizabeth College and help instil the same passion I have for the College in future generations.
Being Head of Year for 7 in September 2022 puts me in a great position to support this cohort of new joiners to find their feet and thrive here, whilst I’ll also be able to share my passion for History, Hockey and Cricket a bit too as I move up with them through their years at College. Having been a student, Old Elizabethan and now a member of staff at Elizabeth College I really understand how your connection to this school can last a lifetime.
