The 175th Old Elizabethan Association Dinner will be held on Saturday 12 October 2024 at the Lansdowne Club, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, Mayfair, London, W1J 5JD.
This will be a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the rechartering of Elizabeth College. The rechartering stems from an enquiry in 1824 led by the island's Lt-Governor, Sir John Colborne, which led to a renaissance of the school. As a result, the iconic College building was commissioned and continues to be a hub where students can learn and thrive, so truly worthy of marking the occasion.
The 2024 London dinner, will be a much larger event than in previous years and, in a break from tradition, will include the option for OEs to bring along partners, which will be great fun.
Stephen Jones (6950) is our Guest of Honour. He has spent 25 years leading expeditions and managing operations in far-flung places. Steve has hard-won leadership experience in high-risk environments and his experiences are so out of the ordinary that he will undoubtedly be an excellent raconteur.
