'Camouflage and Deception in War' - a recent talk by James Porter

James Porter (OE 5482) retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2011 after a career spanning 41 years. He lives in North Dorset and is a volunteer researcher at 'The Keep' Military Museum in Dorchester. Also, and in support of 'The Keep', he runs a military history group called the 'Wessex Military History Group'. This group meets monthly for a military history talk at The Keep, but also runs a monthly talk via Zoom. The Zoom talk is always at 6 pm on the last Wednesday of each month. September's Zoom talk (Wed 30th Sep) is by the well-known military history author Tim Saunders and is titled 'Battle of the Bocage 1944'. October's Zoom talk (Wed 28th October) is by James himself and is titled 'Disaster at Isandlwana 1879'. Anyone wishing to attend one or more talks should contact James at jameskrporter@aol.com .
