Write To A Loved One

The third of our Community Challenges, bringing the Elizabeth College family together, from ECJS Acorn House through to OEs, is to put pen to paper and send a handwritten letter.
Letter writing seems to be enjoying a revival during lockdown, and this week's Community Challenge is to write a letter to a member of the Guernsey care home community who might be miss family, friends and outside news while they are unable to receive visitors.

Another Challenge that might be of more interest to OEs, is to write a handwritten letter to a loved one - a child, grandchildren, parent, sibling or friend. Share what you have been doing to keep busy, what you have enjoyed about lockdown, or what you have been doing with your family.

For those who would like to write to a local care home, please email copies to kgarnett@elizabethcollege.gg by Wednesday 6th May. She will then print and deliver all letters received to various care homes around the island.

Happy writing!
