The Great OE RIB Adventure

"They do not know what they missed" was the comment made by Joan Bichard, after coming ashore from the incredible OE RIB Trip up to the Humps and neighbouring islets recently. She was of course referring to the 4000 odd living OEs who failed to turn up for this great fun event!

Apart from the fun of speeding along the waves in these amazing boats, the trip was very informative thanks to the onboard guide. We were lucky to see a puffin who should have left local waters 2/3 weeks ago, many other sea birds were also spotted.

Perhaps the highlight of the trip was at Grande Amfroque where the boat was positioned, feet away from the rock in the fast flowing tide, as we watched Atlantic Grey Seals!
