Brian Paul Stuart Yeadon - "Danny" to everyone - died in Ireland in the early part of 2006 after a long illness. Although he had not shot recently at Bisley, Danny had been the stalwart of OE and Guernsey teams for many years. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious and he encouraged many people to Fort le Marchant and Bisley. Anyone who visited his tent, pitched close to the Commonwealth Club, was invited in for a Breda and a discourse on some shooting topic or other. His habit of walking around Bisley camp barefoot made him easily recognizable when shooting.

He represented Guernsey in the Kolapore Team 13 times, Mackinnon 9 times (8 for the Channel Islands) and the Australia Match twice. He reached the Queen's Final in 1985.
